When you’re not used to exercising and then you start doing it consistently you’ll notice that you tend to be hungry more often. EAT! This is your body telling you that you’re working harder and it needs more nutrients to keep it going! This isn’t a challenge of how much self control you have when it comes to food. Listen to your body and EAT!
Ever since I’ve amped up my running I just wanna munch and munch and munch.
Just have to work harder at making sure I fuel my body with healthier options and reduce the crap I tend to go towards.
20/15 KM CAMP RUNS
Stretch my little friend streeetttch.
I’m thinking I may get one more run in this week while I’m working.
I head home on Friday and I get 11 days off. I want to run 30-40 km during that time off.
I’m feeling good about my activity level this week. I didn’t really wanna run this evening but I was a little frustrated with work so u thought I would run it off.
Just one step at a time. I’ll do this.
Ate two pieces of homemade cheesecake at supper…
So tomorrow and the next day is BONUS ROUNDS!!!

Even after a too big meal.
Only 8 km left until I’m at 100/300 for summer running goal. I think I’m going to work hard to get over the 100 km marker while at camp.
5/15 Camp Running Goal
Kept my first 2 miles under 10 min each.
I’m going to try to stay active during this shift. And eat better. I know. I always say that. But we shall see.
I’m only here for 8 days so I am aiming for minimum 15 kms running but maybe reach 20 kms. There’s a rowing machine here now so I want to try throwing that into the mix. I haven’t tried it in a long time.
I feel like running is coming back to me. It’s becoming easier and more enjoyable. I’m hitting my stride again. That feels awesome.

I don’t think I gave myself enough time to wake up because my run felt pretty sluggish. I actually got up an 1 hour 15min early to fit this run in so I can ensure I finish this challenge.
I was fully intending to do 6-7 km but as I started out there and my pace quickly determined I didn’t have the time.
I’ll maybe try to get another quick run tonight and then finish my challenge tomorrow morning.

I was mad when instated running. My house is a mess. My backyard is a mess. Everyone is working or away and it’s like I can keep up. My kitchen…omg. I can’t handle it. And I have to keep up my runs to complete my days off goal.
So I went. I slowly began to feel better. Start prioritizing what to do first and how to complete it all.
I wanted to do 7 km today alternating good full km runs with a walk/run km. It was pretty good.
Except my dogs knocked me over when I was almost home. Literally fell on my ass. They were chasing each other and ran right into me. I was like. W. T. F.
Now is have an owie.
6 km ran today. Dogs are happy. I’m happy. I’m sweaty. I feel good.
I’ve been working on my yard. A lot of shovelling rocks and dirt. My shoulders are definitely feeling it.
Tomorrow is an impromptu trip to Edmonton. Excited! My friend is getting her wedding dress fitted. Do a bit of shopping.
We both have healthy goals so maybe we will hit some stairs while we are there.
Protein Pancakes and coffee for breakfast. Fuel for my run. Plan to do 5 km this morning before it gets too hot. #fitblr #fitness #healthy #yum

1. I see a lot of wildlife while working. I try to snap (illegal) photos but they’re wild and run away.
2. I’m running the neon run in September. Excited.
3. I’m buying kayaks on my upcoming days off!!!!!
4. I’ve totally hit a new high in my weight. At the scale in my gym at camp (please be super wrong) hello 190’s…didn’t realise we were gonna be friends.
5. Well I can only bounce back and redefine myself. So I’m gonna BEAST WEEK the hell out of 8 days off. Wait for my goals. Thursday to Thursday.
