Off to Sask to visit fam and a few friends. It’s going to be a short trip, back on Saturday.
The weather in the province is barely cooperating.
Still dealing with the demonic cold. Coughing and sniffles most of the time.
Can wait for warm weather and better health.
Beautiful British Columbia
Snowboarding on the mountains is amazing.
5 minute Follow Along HIIT Express Workout to Jump Start Metabolism first thing in the morning!
Gonna try this today…or when I’m not sick…but I love it!
WiW 180.5 ^+.3lbs^
Pretty much stayed the same. Once the weekend hit it was down hill from there. I had some drinks and ate some bar food. Monday was wing night along with a blizzard from DQ.
Then I got this cough/cold the slowly got worse from Saturday until now.
I did walk Zeppo everyday except yesterday and on…Wednesday last week I tried hot yoga for the first time. I really liked it.
I actually made a lot of home cooked meals in between and most of them were super healthy.
This weekend I am going snowboarding in Fernie, BC. Super excited. Haven’t been to mountains for a while so I’m really looking forward to it.
When I get back from the mountains I plan on really cleaning up my eating and really working hard on that. Plan my meals and make better choices along with cooking at home and taking a break from drinking on the weekend.
So this is my WiW. Have a happy hump day.
Having a sick day at home. Wearing the BF pj’s sitting in the sun watching the world melt.
I’ve been hacking up a lung las few days and last night/this morning was probably the worst.
Hopefully getting better soon and soup and movies it is tonight.
So a friend of a friend of mine wanted to use a photo of my eye as part of her presentation. She’s going to school to be an eye doctor. This was her response.
Kinda interesting I thought.
"In the meantime, I’ve really appreciated your sharing this photo of your friend. While most Sclerologists look for red vessel signs in the whites of the eyes, she appears to have a ‘melanin rich patch’ in her left eye, which with darker skinned people occurs fairly frequently. In her case it happens to land on the Arterial Heart section, which makes me wonder if your friend has any circulation issues, or if there is any history of arterial complications in the family, particularly on the Mother’s side.
While the melanin patch seems to make contact with the Thoraco Abdominal areas, it doesn’t seem to access the spleen area at all. This may sound like a leap, but I think that your friend is quite courageous and capable of regeneration despite many challenges. The nice thing about the size of her pupils is that she appears open to challenges, and might even enjoy taking risks.
In terms of Iridology, there’s not much to go on, but your friend may benefit from ‘dry skin brushing’ starting at the extremities and ending around the heart area, as she has a scurf rim ( that dark ring of purpose’ around her iris ) which shows up in people that do well with lots of clear fluids and clear elimination through the skin — however, that won’t include alcohol, especially in times of a depressed mood.”
Hi fatgirlvsgym … aka LOVER.
I am 99% sure Pro was a April Fools joke, as you can see I have no more hat.
But Spring-ter will end and we will see the warm weather and the paved and unpaved running trails will call our names.
Took the pup and the BF for a walk. We actually did this path yesterday evening but I didn’t runkeep it or photo anything…cuz my phone was near death.
BUT I think I might make this my new short-burst run path. BECAUSE the SouthWest side of this route is ALL hills. Its awesome and rolly and quite the workout. This is a 3.75 km route and it took me 50 min. Granted it is slippery as you can see ice everywhere, but will still be a challenge in the summer.
This is a part of the Birchwood Trail system that I am so in love with. I love these trails and it definitely a Fort McMurray hidden gem. If you live here and haven’t explored them you are missing out. Beautiful and tranquil in every season.
belleofhisball I got this mug at the Harry Potter Exhibit in Edmonton this last weekend. It was awesome. And it won’t work around muggles.
